About The Position

Saint Luke's East is looking to add to the Medical Intermediate team! This is a part-time, nights position with 12-hour shifts. The Medical Intermediate unit is a 30-bed unit that cares for a variety of diagnoses and complex medical conditions, including surgical, cardiac, and stroke patients. The nursing team values unit teamwork, quality patient care, and has a passion for growth and development. The team has a strong foundation with experienced charge nurses and is looking to grow.

Requirements

• Less than 1 year of applicable experience
• Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross
• Registered Nurse - Various
• Associate Degree

Responsibilities

• Accountable for utilizing the nursing process.
• Responsible for performing patient care.
• Responsible for delegating patient care tasks and for supervision of other patient care staff.
• Responsible for coordinating the plan of care for a group of assigned patients.
• Consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• This clinical nurse demonstrates proficiency and abides by policies, rules, guidelines, and procedures.
