About The Position
Centurion provides comprehensive healthcare services to the Missouri Department of Corrections and is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse (Medical) at Jefferson City Correctional Center in Jefferson City, Missouri. The RN provides holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients. The role works under the direction of the Director of Nursing and/or Nursing Supervisor and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to identify, assess, and respond to patients’ physical, psychological, and social needs.
Requirements
- Missouri RN license or ability to obtain one.
- Current CPR certification.
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, including passing a drug screen and criminal background check.
Responsibilities
- Provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients within the appropriate scope of practice.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to identify, assess, and respond to patients’ physical, psychological, and social needs.
