About The Position

Join INTEGRIS Health Portland Avenue in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, as a full-time, day-shift Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department. The Staff Registered Nurse manages and delivers patient care using the nursing process, including assessing patients, developing and implementing plans of care, and evaluating interventions. The role may require floating to other units and participating in on-call status. The nurse supervises and coordinates other licensed and non-licensed personnel as assigned and provides guidance and mentorship to non-licensed personnel and students, as appropriate. This position requires population-specific competencies and adherence to applicable National Patient Safety Goals. The role reports to the appropriate manager, director, or vice president. Requirements

Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Oklahoma, or a current multistate license from a Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) member state.
Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by the American Red Cross or American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
Population-specific competencies required for the position.
Other certifications and competencies as required based on service-line skill.

Responsibilities

Manage and deliver patient care using the nursing process.
Assess and reassess patients.
Develop plans of care.
Implement and evaluate appropriate patient care interventions.
Document patient care.
Supervise and coordinate other licensed and non-licensed personnel in the provision of care as assigned.
Provide guidance and mentorship to non-licensed personnel and students, as appropriate.
Adhere to applicable National Patient Safety Goals.
Float to other units if required and participate in on-call status if required.
