About The Position
Concordia Visiting Nurses is a Medicare-certified, state licensed, Medicaid approved home health agency operating in nine Western Pennsylvania counties. For well over a decade, Concordia Visiting Nurses has provided high-quality skilled nursing, palliative care, and a variety of therapy services to our patients. Our goal is to deliver quality home health services, in good faith, to those who entrust themselves to our care and to minister to the unique needs of each individual with respect, dignity, and compassion. Concordia Visiting Nurses is seeking a dedicated and personable Registered Nurse RN to join our team and provide compassionate care to patients and families. Registered Nurses are needed for patient care in and around the Cranberry TWP, Wexford and Gibsonia, allowing you to work close to your home.
Requirements
- Graduate of state-approved school with course in pharmacology
- Reliable, independent means of transportation to make home visits.
- Drivers must have a valid driver’s license and drive a vehicle with insurance limits as established by the state.

Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians, patients, and families.
- Treatments, IV starts, Chest Tube Management, and Wound care.
- Educating and empowering patients and families on managing their health conditions and building confidence in self-care.
- Utilizing strong clinical assessment skills to monitor patient conditions and identify changes.
