About The Position

The Registered Nurse provides and coordinates comprehensive patient care through the nursing process, delivering safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. The role uses evidence-based practice, clinical decision-making, compassion, and communication skills to support a safe patient environment and a positive patient experience across the continuum.

The position is part of the AMC-Summit Hyperbaric and Wound Care team, an outpatient clinic attached to Aurora Medical Center Summit. Nurses staff the clinic schedule and assess inpatients with hyperbaric, wound care, and ostomy needs. Care includes new provider consultations, provider follow-up visits, and nurse dressing changes. The team collaborates with wound care providers and other hospital areas, and participates in quality and process improvement.

This is a per diem position assigned to cover PTO, sick calls, and volume fluctuations; flexibility is sought. Previous experience is preferred.
