About The Position

Baptist Health is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in the Stress Lab at Baptist Medical Center South in Jacksonville, Florida. The RN uses the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, working closely with patients, families, physicians, and the multidisciplinary care team. This is a full-time, day-shift opportunity, with hours between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. No call is required; rotating weekends are required.

Requirements

• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN).
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN).
• Diploma-prepared nurses must have at least 5 years of progressive care experience.

Nice To Haves

• 2 years of critical care experience preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care.
• Monitor patients during diagnostic cardiac testing and procedures to ensure their safety and comfort.
• Educate patients and families about disease processes, treatment, and the plan of care.
• Administer medications and provide appropriate nursing interventions based on patient needs.
• Recognize and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition and emergency situations.
• Coordinate care with physicians, ancillary services, and other members of the healthcare team.
• Supervise and coordinate care provided by supportive personnel as appropriate.
• Advocate for patients while providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and patient-safety standards.
