About The Position
Pelham Medical Center is hiring a PRN Tier I Registered Nurse for its 24-bed Acute Care Orthopedic/Spine/Surgical Unit. The unit cares for post-surgical orthopedic, spine, and neurological patients, as well as medical-surgical and telemetry patients. It has a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5, spacious rooms, and advanced monitoring technology. The nurse delivers evidence-based, compassionate care, collaborates with a multidisciplinary team, advocates for patients, and supports continuity of care. The position also involves professional development and participation in unit-based committees. PRN Tier I nurses must work four 12-hour shifts in each six-week period. Two of those shifts must fall on a weekend, and nurses must work one major summer holiday and one major winter holiday.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Current South Carolina or compact-state RN license.
- BLS certification.
