This role provides for patient needs using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) and the mission statement. It involves the organization and supervision of care provided by supportive personnel and the coordination of care with ancillary services. The nurse will include patients and their significant others/families in developing an individualized plan of care and educate them on their disease process and plan of care. The role serves as a patient advocate and is responsible for providing care to patients requiring treatment for any medical, surgical, or other condition, including chronic medical conditions and minor injuries or illnesses. The primary location is South - Main Building.
