About The Position

Registered nurses provide safe, competent patient care; educate patients and their families about health conditions; and offer advice and emotional support. This PRN, as-needed role is in Couplet Care within Labor & Delivery. The nurse must be available to work at least 12 hours bi-weekly as required by departmental demand. Additional hours may be requested by the supervisor to accomplish work objectives, and hours may vary based on unit needs. The work shift is rotating.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• At least one year of work experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Women's Postpartum and Nursery experience.
• Licensure as a Registered Nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Nursing degree preferred.
