About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides high-quality, safe, cost-effective, total nursing care to patients using the nursing process. The RN coordinates and integrates patient care based on the needs of patients and their family members, directing care according to established safety, risk management, and infection-control standards with the goal of discharging patients after providing an optimum level of care. The RN uses evidence-based practice in accordance with professional standards and the Florida State Nurse Practice Act, reviews orders and test results, and documents care accurately and promptly in the electronic health record. This is a per-diem, seasonal Med Surg position on the night shift at West Boca Medical Center. Requirements

Graduate of an RN program.
Registered Nurse license in the State of Florida.
American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certification required.
New graduates are eligible for hire.

Nice To Haves

BSN preferred.
One year of experience as an RN preferred.
