About The Position
Franciscan Health is hiring a Registered Nurse for a cross-trained position serving postpartum, the newborn nursery, and pediatrics. Nurses provide comprehensive care to patients and their families by listening to and assessing patients, developing plans of care, implementing those plans, and reassessing and evaluating each patient. The role is based at the Franciscan Health Indianapolis Campus in Indianapolis, Indiana. The position includes a didactic learning experience in a fast-paced environment. The unit has 24 postpartum beds and 8 pediatric beds, and patient ratios are dependent on acuity. Requirements
- Associate degree from an accredited program.
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in the state or as listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
- Team-oriented and willing to be flexible and dynamic in meeting patient care needs.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is desirable.
Responsibilities
