About The Position

This Registered Nurse position is for the PreOp PostOp unit at Texas Health Heart and Vascular, located in Arlington, Texas. The role is PRN (as needed) with a 6 shifts/6 week schedule period, working Day Shift from 6:00 am to 6:30 pm. This unit specializes in exclusive heart and vascular surgeries and offers growth opportunities, a tenured team, and a family-oriented environment. The hospital is accredited for Chest Pain through The Joint Commission and has received AHA awards for Heart Failure. They specialize in various cardiac surgeries and procedures, operating in a team-based environment with a strong collaborative culture.

Requirements

  • Nursing Diploma required OR Associate's Degree Nursing required OR Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred
  • CLIAFE – Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign equivalency required
  • 1 year experience as a Registered Nurse required
  • RN - Registered Nurse upon hire required
  • BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required
  • ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support 90 days required

Nice To Haves

  • Previous Pre/Post Op Cath Lab experience preferred
