About The Position

Manatee Memorial Hospital (MMH) is seeking a part-time day-shift Registered Nurse for its Progressive Care Unit. The Registered Nurse promotes and provides safe, competent nursing care in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy. The nurse demonstrates professional leadership and supports the healthcare team while providing patient-centered nursing care. Duties include communicating with physicians and other nursing staff about patient needs, administering IVs and medications, and using medical equipment to monitor patient vital signs.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Florida RN licensure.
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
• Current ACLS certification through the American Heart Association.
• Current NIH Stroke Certification.
