RN or Registered Nurse (Chadron, NE) – Youth Residential Program
About The Position
PsyPhyCare, a division of Business Staffing of America, Inc., is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide on-site medical and wellness services within a federally supported residential youth program in Chadron, Nebraska. This role supports a comprehensive residential program serving young adults, ages 16–24, with the mission to prepare participants for meaningful employment and independent living. The RN will provide direct clinical services to students, collaborate closely with residential and program staff in a structured, community-based environment, and support the Health & Wellness program through direct patient care, prevention initiatives, health education, and coordination with healthcare providers and interdisciplinary staff.
Requirements
- Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Nebraska.
- Minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience in a clinical, school-based, residential, or community health setting required.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required.
- Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems preferred.

Responsibilities
- Provide on-site nursing services within the scope of practice under the applicable state nurse practice act and facility Wellness Guidelines.
- Triage urgent and emergent medical situations.
- Provide first aid, clinical assessments, and basic treatment.
- Monitor students with chronic health conditions.
- Administer medications and assist with examinations.
- Coordinate referrals and follow-up care with healthcare providers.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation and records.
- Track laboratory results, immunizations, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Deliver individual and group health education sessions.
- Maintain medical and prescription supply inventories.
- Provide staff training on health and wellness topics.
- Collaborate with community healthcare partners and program leadership.
- Support a safe, respectful, and inclusive campus environment.
- Mentor students through professional role modeling and participation in program initiatives as assigned.
