About The Position

The Registered Nurse provides professional nursing care in support of medical care, as directed by medical staff and in accordance with hospital objectives and policies. The RN supervises unlicensed personnel who may provide care to clients assigned to the RN. As a member of the interdisciplinary patient care team, the RN actively participates in continuous, unit-based and hospital-wide performance improvement processes, following the standards of practice defined by the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners, Tenet corporate standards of conduct, and Nacogdoches Medical Center policies and procedures. This ICU position is listed as full-time nights and may qualify for a sign-on bonus.

Requirements

• Associate degree or diploma in Nursing.
• Minimum experience: Graduate Nurse with Temporary Permit.
• Required: RN license in the State of Texas.
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS; required certifications are to be completed within 3 months of employment.
