Registered Nurse (RN) FT days
About The Position
Wellfound Behavioral Health Hospital is seeking a compassionate and skilled Psychiatric Registered Nurse to join their inpatient team. This is a .9 FTE position, involving three 12-hour shifts per week with rotating weekends. The role focuses on promoting and restoring patient's mental health in a safe and therapeutic environment through direct nursing care. RNs participate in patient care plans and wrap-around services, provide physical and psychological support, and offer clinical leadership. They maintain a positive attitude, foster harmonious relationships, and serve as role models for staff, promoting Wellfound Values, a positive work environment, and efficient, quality patient care.
Requirements
- Associate degree in nursing, BSN preferred.
- Current Washington State license without restrictions or accepted compact license.
- One year inpatient psychiatric nursing experience required.
- Candidate should possess strong nursing assessment skills.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) card through American Heart Association or American Red Cross required.
- Must join the SEIU Union within thirty (30) calendar days of employment and remain a member in good standing of the Union, unless approved for a religious exemption.

Responsibilities
- Promotes and restores patient’s mental health in a safe and therapeutic environment through direct nursing care to assigned patients within the nursing process.
- Participate in the care plans of our patients and their wrap around services.
- Provide physical and psychological support to our patients.
- Provide clinical leadership for other staff on the unit.
- Maintain a hopeful and positive attitude in problem-solving and coping.
- Promote and maintain harmonious and effective relationships and communications with the patients.
- Serve as a role model to staff promoting the Wellfound Values, a positive work environment and efficient, quality patient care.
