Registered Nurse RN OR FT Days
About The Position
This full-time Registered Nurse (RN) position is located at Sacred Heart Hospital in Lavonia, Georgia, operating on a Monday-Friday day shift with on-call duties. The role is for a clinically competent, registered, professional nurse with demonstrated expertise in the perioperative field. The RN II is responsible for effectively delivering perioperative care to surgical patients by utilizing the nursing process, which includes assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation. Additionally, the RN II will assist in supervising non-professional personnel within the area. Key aspects of the role involve anticipating the needs of the surgical team based on individual patient and procedure assessments, providing necessary services, and maintaining an aseptic and safe environment. The successful candidate is expected to demonstrate initiative and maintain a consistent level of productivity.
Requirements
- Current GA State license
- Certified in AHA BLS on hire
- Unit specific advanced competencies
- ACLS and PALS with 1 year of hire
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Nice To Haves
- RN with OR experience preferred
- Minimum of 2 years Med/Surg experience preferred
