Registered Nurse - Float Pool - FT Days
About The Position
The Registered Nurse renders highly professional and technical nursing care to assigned patients. The nurse provides direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The role directs and supervises other assigned team members and collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to provide age- and developmentally appropriate care in accordance with unit standards of care. This position is part of the Float Pool at Methodist Richardson Medical Center. The hospital is a 443-bed, full-service acute care hospital serving Richardson, Garland, Plano, and surrounding areas in Dallas and Collin counties. It is a Certified Comprehensive Stroke Center and provides services including behavioral health and addiction recovery, inpatient rehabilitation, and long-term acute care.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
- Current Basic Life Support certification.
- Current additional certifications as required by the department.
- Current license to practice professional nursing in Texas or eligibility to obtain one.
- At least 6 months of RN experience.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
