Registered Nurse - General Surgery/Telemetry – Weekender Nights
About The Position
The Registered Nurse provides highly professional and technical nursing care to assigned patients. The nurse delivers direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The role directs and supervises assigned team members and collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to provide age- and developmentally appropriate care in accordance with unit standards of care. The position is associated with General Surgery/Telemetry and is described as a weekender nights role. The posting lists a 7 a.m.–7 p.m. work shift and two workdays per week, and identifies the position as part-time.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
- Current Basic Life Support certification.
- Current additional certifications as required by the department.
- Current license to practice professional nursing in Texas, or eligibility to obtain one.
- At least 1 year of RN experience.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
