About The Position
Registered Nurses at Centralus are key members of an interdisciplinary team dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care to the Tompkins County community. Practicing to the full scope of their license, RNs actively contribute to the development, implementation, and evaluation of programs and services, collaborating with colleagues in a shared governance environment to improve patient outcomes and deliver optimal patient-centered care. This position serves Physical Medical Rehabilitation and Short Stay Surgical at Cayuga Medical Center.
Requirements
- Associate degree in Nursing.
- Active New York State RN license.
- Obtain BLS during the introductory period.
- Complete ACLS by the end of orientation.

- Conduct comprehensive patient and family assessments and develop person-centered care plans to meet complex and changing needs.
- Provide skilled, high-quality clinical care while staying current with policies, procedures, and professional standards.

- Apply evidence-based practice and demonstrate accountability within the care team and healthcare system.
