About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) – Day Surgery administers direct and indirect care to patients undergoing pre-anesthesia, post-anesthesia, and outpatient pre- and post-procedures. Care is provided in accordance with the standards, guidelines, policies, and procedures established for the unit. The nurse performs in-services and acts as a preceptor for new employees.

Requirements

• Associate degree.
• Valid Texas RN license.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS certification.
• PALS certification.

Nice To Haves

• Preferably at least one year of experience in a Medical-Surgical floor, SDS, or critical care.
