About The Position

Under the direction of the Charge Nurse, Patient Care Manager, Director, and Vice President of Patient Care, the Registered Nurse administers individualized, age-appropriate care to neonate, pediatric, adolescent, geriatric, and adult patients in accordance with established nursing standards and the Missouri Nurse Practice Act. This is a full-time Same Day Surgery position working 72 hours per two-week pay period, with benefits. The schedule is days, Monday through Friday, with variable shift start times.

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved professional nursing program.
• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Missouri.
• BLS certification required.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• ACLS certification preferred, except it is required within 90 days of hire in surgery centers.
• PALS certification preferred, except it is required within 90 days of hire in surgery centers.

Responsibilities

• Administer individualized, age-appropriate patient care to neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, geriatric, and adult patients.
• Provide nursing care according to established nursing standards and the Missouri Nurse Practice Act.
