About The Position

Under the direction of the Charge Nurse, Patient Care Manager, Director, and Vice President of Patient Care, the Registered Nurse administers individualized, age-appropriate patient care to neonate, pediatric, adolescent, geriatric, and adult patients according to established nursing standards and the Missouri Nurse Practice Act. This is a PRN role in Same Day Surgery with a variable start time on day shifts, Monday through Friday.

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved professional nursing program.
• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Missouri.
• BLS certification is required.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• ACLS certification preferred, except it is required in surgery centers within 90 days of hire.
• PALS certification preferred, except it is required in surgery centers within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Administer individualized, age-appropriate patient care to neonate, pediatric, adolescent, geriatric, and adult patients.
• Provide care according to established nursing standards and the Missouri Nurse Practice Act.
