About The Position

The Registered Nurse in Same Day Surgery administers individualized, age-appropriate patient care to neonate, pediatric, adolescent, geriatric, and adult patients in accordance with established nursing standards and the Missouri Nurse Practice Act. The role works under the direction of the Charge Nurse, Patient Care Manager, Director, and Vice President of Patient Care. This is a full-time position totaling 80 hours per two-week pay period, with benefits. The schedule is days with a variable start time, Monday through Friday.

Requirements

Graduate of an approved professional nursing program.
Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Missouri.
BLS certification is required.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
ACLS certification preferred except in surgery centers, where it is required within 90 days of hire.
PALS certification preferred except in surgery centers, where it is required within 90 days of hire.
