About The Position

Sentara Leigh Hospital located in Norfolk VA is currently hiring an Emergency Room Registered Nurse Traveler. This is a Temp- Full- Time position with Night shift hours. Position is located in Norfolk, VA. This is a 14-week temporary assignment. Our Emergency Dept has a 35 bed Unit seeing approximately 75,000 patients annually and ranked #1 ED for Patient Experience!

Requirements

Associates, Bachelors, Masters, or diploma in the Nursing Field required
Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing
Basic Life Support (BLS)
ACLS
PALS
Two or more years of current acute care hospital RN ER experience.

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Room.
Monitor patient vital signs and condition.
Administer medications and treatments.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
Educate patients and families on health conditions and treatment plans.
