About The Position
Sentara Leigh Hospital in Norfolk, VA is currently hiring an Emergency Room Registered Nurse Traveler. This is a temporary, full-time position with night shift hours. The Emergency Department has a 35-bed unit seeing approximately 75,000 patients annually and is ranked #1 ED for Patient Experience. The assignment is for 14 weeks with a pay rate of $70/hr.
Requirements
- Associates, Bachelors, or Masters degree in Nursing, or a diploma in the Nursing Field.
- Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- ACLS certification.
- PALS certification.
- Two or more years of current acute care hospital RN ER experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Room.
- Monitor patient vital signs and condition.
- Administer medications and treatments.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Document patient care activities.
