About The Position

The Registered Nurse provides care to a variety of intermediate-care patient populations, including intermediate medical patients and patients with high-risk respiratory conditions, cardiac thoracic surgery, hepatobiliary surgery, and head/neck surgery. Patients may require respiratory support ranging from room air to BIPAP or Optiflow. The schedule is 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. and varies. Local candidates within 50 miles are not being considered.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of recent experience in the specialty.
• AHA BLS certification.
• AHA ACLS certification.
• Must work 2 of the 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day.
• Must work 1 minor holiday: the day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve.

Nice To Haves

• NIHSS certification.

Responsibilities
