About The Position

Lead the comprehensive patient care journey in the operative setting (pre-intra-post-op) by continuously monitoring, recording, and communicating vital patient status updates to ensure optimal safety and continuity of care. Execute specialized scrub functions, meticulously selecting and preparing all surgical instruments and supplies to maintain a sterile field and support the procedural flow, directly contributing to surgical success. Support the surgical team directly by assisting the physician with critical tasks, including precise patient positioning, achieving hemostasis, and facilitating wound closure to ensure positive surgical outcomes. Maintain a state of procedural readiness by preparing the operating room, ensuring all instruments, supplies, and high-tech equipment are functional, sterile, and immediately available for every case.

Requirements

  • Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Minnesota Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Licensure is dependent on state associate works in.
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Licensure from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing OR current home state license if considered multi-state/Compact State. Licensure is dependent on state associate works in.
  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire required.
