About The Position
Mercy Health is hiring a new graduate registered nurse for its RN Residency at St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital. The GROW Strong RN New Grad Residency Program is designed for recent graduates of accredited nursing programs who have completed the requirements to obtain a nursing license, as well as students in the final semester of an accredited nursing program with a set graduation date. Program content aligns with QSEN competencies and ANCC Practice Transition Accreditation Program requirements. Rolling enrollment allows nurses to begin within 30–45 days of hire. Specialty Clinical Practice Tracks offer hands-on skills practice to support the application of didactic content, and the condensed program can be completed in 6–8 months. After applying, candidates may be contacted to arrange interviews with appropriate units and locations. The role has 36 scheduled weekly hours as stated in the opening details, though weekly hours and shifts may vary by location and role. Weekend, holiday, and on-call rotation are required according to department policy.
Requirements
