About The Position

Select Specialty Hospital Greensboro is a critical illness recovery hospital providing inpatient post-ICU care to chronically and critically ill patients who need extended healing and recovery. Registered Nurses provide compassionate patient care throughout that recovery. The position is located on the fifth floor of Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital in Greensboro, North Carolina. It is a full-time day-shift role, scheduled from 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., with compensation of $39.38 to $53.00 per hour based on experience. BLS certification required at hire.
ACLS certification required within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

Receive admissions and/or transfers to the unit.
Conduct initial and ongoing systematic patient assessments.
Document information accurately and promptly using appropriate systems.
Interpret assessment and diagnostic data, including laboratory results and telemetry.
Ensure medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately.
Demonstrate competence in rapid response and code events.
Instruct and counsel patients and families.
Perform other duties as assigned.
