About The Position
Villa Feliciana Medical Complex (VFMC) is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Nursing Department on the Wound Care Unit. VFMC provides compassionate, high-quality services to individuals living with chronic diseases, disabilities, terminal illnesses, and infectious conditions such as HIV/AIDS and tuberculosis. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for delivering skilled, compassionate care to patients with complex medical needs in a homelike, safe environment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a team-oriented setting and is committed to making a difference.
Requirements
- Possession of a current Louisiana Registered Nurse license or a temporary permit or multi-state license issued by a Nursing Licensure Compact (NLC/eNLC) state to practice as a registered nurse.
Nice To Haves

Responsibilities
- Provide direct care to patients whose condition requires skilled procedures and techniques on the hospital unit.
- Perform professional nurse duties to include administration of blood and blood components, IV meds, parental nutrition, central line therapy, etc.
- Performs general nursing duties, including the administration of medication and treatments as ordered by the physician.
- Conduct chart reviews, update monthly present orders, and MARs as assigned.
- Completes Quality Assurance reports as required.
- Performs all other related duties as required in order to maintain the smooth operation of the Nursing Service Department and Villa Feliciana Medical Complex.
