About The Position
Vibra Permanent Staffing is seeking experienced and dedicated Registered Nurses for a direct-hire, full-time opportunity at Louisiana Extended Care Hospital in Lafayette, Louisiana. The role is in a specialized Long-Term Acute Care setting serving high-acuity patients recovering from complex medical conditions. Day shifts are available, and Charge Nurse capabilities are required. The position offers a competitive salary with shift differentials, benefits, and paid time off.
Requirements
- Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment.
- Current BLS certification.
- Current ACLS certification; ACLS is required within 90 days of hire.
- Active RN license in Louisiana or a compact state.
- Strong clinical judgment and a commitment to excellence in patient care.
- Compassionate, team-oriented mindset.
- Charge Nurse capabilities.
Nice To Haves
- At least 1 year of acute care, ICU, or LTAC experience is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to critically ill or medically complex patients.
- Collaborate with physicians and an interdisciplinary team to coordinate individualized care plans.
- Monitor patient progress, administer medications and treatments, and document clinical findings.
- Educate patients and families, and advocate for long-term health and recovery.
- Maintain compliance with policies, standards, and regulatory guidelines.
