About The Position

Registered Nurses provide nursing care to a group of patients for a designated time frame and routinely lead a team of care providers. This role is responsible to the Director of ICU and serves patients across neonatal, infant, child, adolescent, adult, and geriatric age groups. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check, lab work, and review of immunization records. The application must be completed in its entirety to be considered for the interview process.

Requirements

• Associate degree in nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree.
• Current registration with the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners.
• Obtain and maintain American Heart Association BLS Healthcare Provider certification.
• Obtain and maintain American Heart Association ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.
• Obtain and maintain American Heart Association PALS certification within 6 months of hire.
• Successful completion of a background check, lab work, and immunization-record review is required for employment.
• Annual respirator fit testing is required.

Nice To Haves

• 1–2 years of previous critical care experience preferred.
