About The Position
Rossmoor Post Acute is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and clinically skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dedicated nursing team on the NOC shift. If you are committed to providing exceptional resident care and thrive in a supportive long-term care environment, we would love to have you on our team. The RN will provide professional nursing care to residents while ensuring their safety, comfort, and overall well-being. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively during the overnight shift.
Requirements
- Current and active California Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team.
- Reliable, compassionate, professional, and resident-focused.
Nice To Haves
- Previous skilled nursing, long-term care, or post-acute experience preferred.
- Current CPR certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with individualized care plans.
- Assess residents' conditions and promptly identify changes in health status.
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
- Monitor vital signs and document resident care and progress.
- Respond appropriately to resident needs, emergencies, and changes in condition.
- Communicate effectively with physicians, residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
- Supervise and provide direction to CNAs and other nursing staff as appropriate.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of nursing documentation.
- Participate in care planning and contribute to quality resident outcomes.
- Follow all facility policies, procedures, and applicable state and federal regulations.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment for residents.
- Perform other nursing duties as assigned.
