About The Position

Emory Decatur Hospital is hosting a Critical Care Registered Nurse Hiring Event on Thursday, August 27, 2026. Founded in 1961, the hospital joined Emory Healthcare in 2018 and is now part of Georgia's most comprehensive academic health system. The hospital is a 451-bed facility with a planned 33-bed expansion of its Immediate Care/Stepdown Unit in early 2027. This event is an opportunity for experienced RNs to grow their careers with a nurse-empowered organization that provides innovative care to medically complex patients. The teams of highly trained, compassionate nurses are a key differentiator for the health system. The event is for experienced RNs with an active GA RN License, specifically in Critical Care/Intermediate Care - Stepdown specialties. The available shifts are Full-Time, 12-hour shifts (7a-7:30p & 7p-7:30a). Attendees are encouraged to bring four copies of their resume and can dress in scrubs or business casual. Parking will be validated. They are seeking experienced and passionate critical care nurses.

Requirements

Active GA RN License
12 months of recent nursing experience within the past five years (for BSN graduates)
Recent completion of a re-entry nursing program (alternative for BSN graduates)
Minimum of 2 years of recent nursing experience within the past five years (for ADN graduates)
Current LPNs employed within the Emory Healthcare (EHC) system who have completed an accredited RN program and obtain RN licensure are eligible to transition into this role while completing the RN Resident Program.
Emory LPNs enrolled in an Emory ADN program as of 3/30/2025 must sign an obligation agreement to complete an ADN-to-BSN program within two years of entering the RN Clinician role.
