RN, Registered Nurse Med-Surg, Bellevue: PRN
About The Position
The Registered Nurse – Med-Surg implements the nursing process and carries out physicians’ orders for diet, medication, and treatment in accordance with Firelands standards of care. The nurse assesses patients, monitors and evaluates care quality, documents interventions in care plans and medical records, and reports findings to physicians as needed. The role includes educating patients, staff, and family members about treatments, nursing plans, and related care to support safe discharge; responding to emergencies; maintaining the availability of medications and supplies; and ensuring equipment and the environment are clean. The nurse demonstrates service excellence and acts as an ambassador and advocate for FRMC. Firelands Health is a locally managed, not-for-profit healthcare facility serving the Sandusky Bay region and surrounding counties. Requirements
- Current Ohio RN license before providing patient care.
- CPR certification before providing patient care.
- Current ACLS and Basic EKG, or obtain both within six months of hire and keep them current.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Computer proficiency.
