About The Position

For more than 50 years, St. Anthony North Hospital has delivered optimal health care to the communities of Westminster, Erie, Brighton, Broomfield, Northglenn and Thornton. Highlights of our campus include 60,000 square feet of integrated primary and specialty care physician clinics, ambulatory surgery center, birthing center with private birthing suites, Level III Trauma Center with 24/7 emergency services, over 150 inpatient beds and an outpatient diagnostics center with lab and imaging services. Built on the pillars of convenience, wellness and person-centered care, we offer inpatient and outpatient care at one site, with an emphasis on preventive health, wellness and health education. The department 4 West is a 30-bed Cardiac/Medical unit. We care for patients experiencing chest pain, STEMI, NSTEMI, congestive heart failure, and cardiac arrhythmias, as well as a wide range of other medical conditions. The unit is equipped to manage non-titratable cardiac drips and frequently receives patients from the Cath lab following procedures such as cardiac or peripheral stent placement, pacemaker insertion, and cardioversion. As a Registered Nurse (RN) you will assume responsibility and accountability for: Facilitating, communicating, and collaborating with both the healthcare team, and the patient/family to identify and meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the patient. Promote the optimal health, well-being and safety of the patient through use of the nursing process and in accordance with patient care standards, guidelines and the State Nurse Practice Act. Demonstrate personal accountability for relationship-based care, organizational mission, and core values.

Requirements

At least six months of direct RN experience
Associates Degree in Nursing required
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required for new graduates
One year experience preferred
RN License required
Current state nursing licenses or valid RN license from a participating state in the National Licensure Compact
BLS American Heart Association

Nice To Haves

Bachelors Degree in Nursing preferred
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing preferred for experienced RNs
