About The Position

St. Anthony North Hospital has provided healthcare to communities including Westminster, Erie, Brighton, Broomfield, Northglenn, and Thornton for over 50 years. The campus features 60,000 square feet of integrated primary and specialty care physician clinics, an ambulatory surgery center, a birthing center with private suites, a Level III Trauma Center with 24/7 emergency services, over 150 inpatient beds, and an outpatient diagnostics center with lab and imaging services. The hospital achieved Magnet designation in 2023, a recognition awarded to less than 6 percent of U.S. hospitals. The facility emphasizes preventive health, wellness, and health education, offering inpatient and outpatient care at one site, built on convenience, wellness, and person-centered care. The 4 West department is a 30-bed Cardiac/Medical unit that cares for patients with conditions such as chest pain, STEMI, NSTEMI, congestive heart failure, and cardiac arrhythmias, as well as various other medical conditions. The unit is equipped to manage non-titratable cardiac drips and frequently admits patients from the Cath lab after procedures like cardiac or peripheral stent placement, pacemaker insertion, and cardioversion. Requirements

  • Associates Degree in Nursing required; Nursing Diploma or by endorsement
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required for new graduates
  • Nursing skills and knowledge base specific to specialty
  • RN License required; Current state nursing licenses or valid RN license from a participating state in the National Licensure Compact
  • BLS American Heart Association

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelors Degree in Nursing
  • One year experience

Responsibilities

  • Facilitating, communicating, and collaborating with both the healthcare team, and the patient/family to identify and meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the patient.
  • Promote the optimal health, well-being and safety of the patient through use of the nursing process and in accordance with patient care standards, guidelines and the State Nurse Practice Act.
  • Demonstrate personal accountability for relationship-based care, organizational mission, and core values.
