About The Position

Saint Alphonsus Health System is hiring a Registered Nurse for its Medical Group Boise Heart Care Clinic, located off I-184 and Curtis Road. The clinic provides heart care for patients over age 55 with conditions such as coronary artery disease, hypertension, irregular heart rhythms, and congestive heart failure. Services include electrophysiology, echocardiograms, treadmill and nuclear stress tests, and laboratory services. The RN provides patient care in an ambulatory clinic, including treadmill stress tests, medication administration, cardiac patient triage, patient education, and scheduling cardiac procedures. The role also includes mentoring clinical staff, maintaining accurate documentation, and protecting confidential information. The schedule is four 10-hour day shifts. Saint Alphonsus is a faith-based, not-for-profit health system serving Idaho, Oregon, and northern Nevada. It emphasizes patient-centered, physician-led, innovative, and community-based care. The system has four hospitals, 609 licensed beds, and 73 clinic locations.

Requirements

An associate or bachelor's degree from a nursing program accredited by ACEN or CCNE.
An Idaho RN license issued before the hire date. Multistate license holders must establish residency with the Idaho Board of Nursing within 60 days of hire.
Provide an Oregon RN license or proof of an application in process within 90 days of hire.
Basic Life Support certification for Healthcare Providers from AHA, ARC, or the Military Training Network is required at hire.
Obtain ACLS within six months.
