About The Position

Saint Alphonsus Health System is hiring a Registered Nurse for its Medical Group Boise Heart Care Clinic, located off I-184 and Curtis Road. The clinic cares for patients over age 55 with conditions such as coronary artery disease, hypertension, irregular heart rhythms, and congestive heart failure. Services include electrophysiology, echocardiograms, treadmill and nuclear stress tests, and laboratory services.

The RN performs treadmill stress tests, administers medication, triages cardiac patients, educates patients, and schedules cardiac procedures. The role also includes mentoring clinical staff, maintaining accurate documentation, and preserving confidential information. The schedule consists of four 10-hour day shifts.

Requirements

• An associate or bachelor's degree from a nursing program accredited by ACEN or CCNE.
• An RN license in Idaho issued before the hire date.
• Multistate license holders must establish residency with the Idaho Board of Nursing within 60 days of hire.
• Provide an Oregon RN license or proof that an application is in process within 90 days of hire.
• Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers certification from AHA, ARC, or the Military Training Network is required at hire.
• Obtain ACLS within six months.
