About The Position

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Lake Pointe in Rowlett, TX is seeking a Registered Nurse for their 3 North Med Surg Telemetry unit. This is a full-time, day shift position. The unit primarily cares for a medical-surgical population and fosters an environment of inclusivity, positivity, and diversity with a strong focus on quality patient care and teamwork. Baylor Scott & White Medical Center-Lake Pointe is a community-based hospital offering a wide range of outpatient services and specialties. The hospital is licensed for 176 beds and holds multiple designations including Level III Trauma, Chest Pain Accreditation, Primary Stroke Accreditation, and Maternal and Level III NICU. The nursing team is on a journey towards Pathways to Excellence and will seek Magnet designation.

Requirements

• Graduation from an Accredited Program.
• RN License.
• 2 Years of recent Med Surg Telemetry RN experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) or obtain with (30) thirty days of hire or transfer.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care to a medical, surgical, and telemetry population.
• Collaborate with a diverse team to ensure quality patient care.
• Participate in unit-based councils and contribute to nursing practice improvements.
