About The Position

American Senior Communities is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) at Hickory Creek Sunset. The nurse will develop meaningful relationships with residents and staff by learning their life stories, and use nursing skills to promote residents’ physical and psychosocial well-being. The role calls for a supportive presence, leadership, collaboration, teamwork, and strong interpersonal communication to help provide coordinated, comprehensive, and excellent resident care. Candidates should have a current Indiana RN license, medication management skills, and the ability to assess residents and document changes in their condition. A passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence are essential. Requirements

• Current and valid Registered Nurse license in the state of Indiana.
• Proficient medication management skills.
• Ability to conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in resident conditions.
• Strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence.
• Demonstrated ability to provide supportive care, collaborate, work as part of a team, and communicate interpersonally.

Responsibilities

• Promote residents’ physical and psychosocial well-being through nursing care.
• Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents.
• Promote teamwork within the care team to meet residents’ needs.
• Collaborate with nursing and other facility teams to coordinate comprehensive resident care.
• Conduct thorough resident assessments and accurately document changes in residents’ conditions.
