We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our close-knit team. Requirements

  • Associate degree or LPN/LVN certification in good standing for Nebraska (for LPN candidates).
  • Minimum of 1 year of LPN experience OR 3 years of experience as a CNA/CMA (for LPN candidates).
  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) (for RN candidates).
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing for Nebraska (for RN candidates).
  • Minimum of 1 year of general nursing experience (for RN candidates).
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Current certification in CPR & First Aid.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Basic tech/computer literacy.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of those we serve.
  • Comfortable with active physical work, including standing, walking, bending.
  • Ability to safely lift up to 25 lbs and transfer 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Promote healthy lifestyles and champion the best possible health outcomes for the individuals we support.
  • Partner and communicate openly with external healthcare providers to ensure the people we serve receive exceptional routine and preventative care.
  • Accurately administer medications, injections, tube feedings, monitor vital signs, and respond swiftly to any changes in health status.
  • Provide health-related education (like infection control and medication safety) to the individuals served and our dedicated, unlicensed direct-care workforce.
  • Contribute clinical insights to annual support plans, facilitate personal health goals, and maintain comprehensive, compliant healthcare records.
  • Handle comprehensive nursing assessments (for RNs).
  • Oversee medication/supply inventories (for RNs).
  • Manage the training, delegation, and ongoing supervision of nursing tasks to our unlicensed workforce (for RNs).
