Reports to: Director or Manager of Emergency Department Essential Functions: Performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments and other medical care activities. Documents patient care provided Monitors, records and communicates patient condition to the care team, physician, patient and family. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of North Carolina (or compact license)
  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) from an accredited nursing program
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (required)
  • PALS and ACLS (required)
  • One year of RN experience

Responsibilities

  • Performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments and other medical care activities.
