About The Position

AFCC - River North, Illinois is seeking a motivated Registered Nurse with an interest in fertility and women's health. This full-time position works Monday through Friday, with rotating shifts between 6:30 a.m. and 4 p.m.; start and end times vary. Weekend rotations are expected 1–2 weekends per month. The role supports clinical back-office patient flow, physician exams and procedures, patient triage, intrauterine insemination, and patient education and counseling.

Requirements

Valid Illinois nursing license.
Current BLS certification from the AHA or Red Cross.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

Registered Nurse experience or background in women's health or infertility; enthusiastic, highly motivated nurses without this background may be trained.

Responsibilities

Support clinical back-office flow of patients.
Room patients and assist the physician with exams and procedures.
Triage phone calls and voicemail.
Perform intrauterine insemination procedures.
Follow nursing protocols for procedures and advice.
Provide patient education and counseling as required.
