About The Position

The Munson Pediatric Crisis Residential Program is a six-bed, short-term residential treatment program for youth ages 8–17 experiencing a behavioral health crisis. It provides 24/7, trauma-informed care in a safe, home-like environment as an alternative to inpatient psychiatric hospitalization. During their typical 7–14 day stay, residents receive individualized treatment, including therapy, medication management, skill-building, and family involvement, to stabilize their mental health and prepare for a successful return home, school, and community. Staff are part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team dedicated to delivering compassionate, evidence-based care that helps youth and families navigate crises and build a foundation for long-term recovery.

Requirements

  • Currently Licensed in as a Registered Nurse in the State of Michigan
  • Vaccinated or have lab confirmed immunity for Measles, Mumps, Rubella and Varicella
  • Receive a flu vaccine during the flu season in the year that they are hired and annually thereafter, or receive an approved medical or religious exemption
