About The Position
We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) for an 8-week contract. The position requires 36 hours per week on the night shift, caring for patients on medical-surgical/telemetry units. The nurse will participate in a 6-hour non-billable unit orientation and may be the first to float to other medical-surgical/telemetry units within the region. The schedule includes working every other weekend and assisting with holiday coverage as needed.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Illinois.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
- At least 2 years of medical-surgical/telemetry nursing experience; new graduates will not be considered.
- Submit a resume, skills checklist, two professional references, and active certifications and licensure.
Nice To Haves
- 5 or more years of medical-surgical/telemetry nursing experience.
- Previous travel nursing experience.
Responsibilities
