Requirements

• Active authorization to practice as a Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania
• If you are within 60 days of graduating from a school of nursing approved by the State Board of Nursing, you are eligible to apply for this job posting.
• At the time of appointment to a position, you must show proof of possession of a current, valid PA temporary practice permit or PA Registered Nurse license.
• You must be able to perform essential job functions.
• Satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
• Satisfactory completion of a medical examination.

Nice To Haves

• All employees possessing an active temporary practice permit must obtain licensure as a Registered Nurse within the one (1) year period defined by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate physical and emotional conditions to guide care planning
• Collaborate with staff and physicians to support treatments and resident needs
• Dispense, monitor, and document medications and treatments
• Develop and update rehabilitative and restorative care plans with therapy
• Record care, assessments, and progress in electronic medical systems
• Guide nursing staff, teach new procedures, and monitor work quality
