Registered Nurse Per Diem Inpatient Behavioral Health
About The Position

Nursing support for the patient and their families is a catalyst for change and empowerment towards recovery from behavioral health conditions. Nurses provide meaningful feedback that helps our multidisciplinary team tailor treatment goals to the individual needs of every person. Educating and supporting patients and their families during the BH Admission Nursing care is key for safety and patient satisfaction. You will lead patient observations, milieu management, and help communicate and address emergent needs of the people we treat. The licensed Registered Nurse (RN) plans & provides professional nursing services & standards of practice in accordance with level of experience & education, state board of nursing & established policies & procedures. The RN integrates the art, science, leadership & knowledge of the nursing clinical practice through relationship-centered, compassionate, ethical & respectful direct / indirect healthcare services.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited college or university affiliated nursing program
- Current Licensure as a Registered Nurse RN in Connecticut
- BLS required
Nice To Haves
- BSN graduates preferred
- Behavioral/Psychiatric experience
