About The Position

Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Registered Nurse for their partner healthcare facility in Inglewood, Ca. This is a full-time, day shift position in the Cath Lab with an assignment length of 12 weeks. The role involves providing direct patient care before, during, and after cardiac and vascular procedures, addressing patients' physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, and monitoring hemodynamic and physiologic data. The nurse will assist physicians during procedures, prepare and maintain procedure rooms and equipment, maintain accurate documentation, and participate in quality improvement activities. Effective communication and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team are essential.

Requirements

Active state Registered Nursing (RN) License; required.
Current BCLS, ACLS certificate upon hire required.
One (1) year clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Lab doing cardiac work required.

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care before, during, and after cardiac and vascular procedures.
Address the physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs of patients in the procedural environment.
Monitor and record hemodynamic and physiologic data, responding promptly to changes in patient condition.
Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures, including cardiac catheterizations, pacemaker insertions, and angioplasties.
Prepare, assess, and maintain procedure rooms, equipment, and supplies for each case.
Maintain accurate documentation and uphold all regulatory and hospital standards.
Participate in performance improvement and quality assurance activities to enhance patient safety and departmental operations.
Demonstrate effective communication and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care
